Indoor school shoes or Uwabaki

A short entry about what we do in Japanese schools.

In school, teachers and children have lockers or boxes for shoes at the main entrance.

We put our shoes in and change to our “uwabaki” or “indoor- shoes.”

In that way, we are wearing “clean-shoes” in school.
