During my early days in Japan, I was traveling in Kyushu and visited a toilet where I saw a button with this message above it: “To conserve water, please push this button.” Hey, I’m all about conservation, so after I ‘did my business’, I pressed the button and was surprised to hear the toilet flushing sound. ‘Um, I don’t want to conserve that bad.’, I thought to myself and flushed the toilet.

Ah that is my favourite food. I am particularly frustrated, though, when I stumble upon farm raised eel where I am expecting fresh water ones (happened a lot to me, outside of Japan).
