Thank you Michiko
As many Japanese people try to get their lives back- it is good to realize that there is a river, there is a road... etc. We thank God for everything...

Farah & Yoshi-san,

Happy New Year! Hiro and I will come to see you this year! It's away overdue :)

It's been so tough for people in Japan. I wish I could do something to make it better.

Thank you for updating situation and posting all the food that I miss there. You make me hungry :)

You both look great!
Michiko

p.s. I love your phrase.

There is a river… There is a road…
Always

If I may add.... So, we keep moving forward....

Thank you very much for your beautiful words Lea dear. I just love to "talk" and put these words into writing. I am not a professional writer as you know so my grammar may be wrong at times but that is the least of my worries. Happy Holidays... See you soon.

The very same painful experience I feel watching the head of a fish in the middle of a platter of sashimi that had just been sliced and prepared, fresh from the aquarium, still moving as if convulsing and having epileptic seizures. Ohhh, such guilty pleasures...

Hello Derek - Merry Christmas - where are you in Japan? There are lots of places to buy Futons - supermarkets that have a place where they sell dry goods on the second floor... Peacock, Inageya, Jusco, Seiyu... Outside Tokyo - Aeon, Ito Yokado, etc. - usually there are no instructions in English... But I you can ask them if they have... :D
