When I was younger, I was allergic to shrimps.
Since I avoided shrimps, I also did not touch anything related to crabs, shell fish, oysters, and anything I thought was related
to my allergy.
Little did I realise that I could eat oysters.
When I came to Japan, I was introduced to deep fried oysters, and that is “Kaki Fry”.
A few weeks ago, I made my first attempt at cooking this.

- 16 oysters
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup panko (bread crumbs)
- 1/4 cup flour
- oil for frying
- salt and pepper
- cabbage (side dish)
